HumanX and Humanrace Capital are forming the exclusive AI Policy Council that will have its first meeting in August 2025.
The coalition is set up for AI companies as early as pre-seed to:
Engage with Policymakers:
Members gain structured, regular access to key policymakers at the federal, state, and local levels—including opportunities for direct dialogue with executive branch agencies, congressional staff, and legislators. This includes quarterly engagement touchpoints and twice-yearly in-person “fly-in” events in Washington, D.C., to meet with influential decision-makers.
Gain Affordable Policy Access:
The coalition is designed to give early-stage AI companies (pre-seed through Series B) affordable access to policy expertise and influence—services that would otherwise be prohibitively expensive if pursued individually. This includes real-time updates, strategic advice, and support navigating emerging regulatory frameworks and a ‘bat phone’ to be used for urgent matters.
Influence National Policy:
In the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” over $500 billion is proposed to modernize the federal government with AI. That said, with the removal of a moratorium on state regulation of AI from H.R.1, the need for rational national policy advocacy for earlier stage AI companies has never been more important. The coalition organizes and coordinates policy positions on behalf of its members, drafting and distributing policy papers, and advocating for member interests in ongoing legislative debates. Members can participate in shaping these positions and in collective advocacy efforts, such as signing letters or providing input on legislative priorities.
Unlock Business Development:
Membership unlocks business development opportunities through policy relationships, potential partnerships, and integration pathways with the federal government. The coalition also facilitates networking among peers, competitors, and key players in the AI ecosystem, including through quarterly summits and other events.
Engage with the Strategic Advisory Council (SAC):
While not members of the Coalition, the SAC will be composed of leading F500 companies and sovereign nations and will be both allies to help inform Coalition members and serve as potentially valuable customers and connections.
Network Strategically:
Meet face-to-face with peers, competitors, and key players across the AI ecosystem.
